Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 25 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of the IB Maths Help website and its practice questions, worked solutions and study resources (the "Service"). By using the Service or purchasing access you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Developing Maths Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13700723), whose registered office is at Kemp House, 152–160 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. We trade as IB Maths Help.
For any questions about these Terms, contact us at phil@developingmaths.co.uk.
2. The Service
We provide original, exam-style mathematics practice questions and worked solutions for the four IB Diploma Mathematics courses. All questions are written by us in the IB style. We are an independent resource and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). "IB" and "International Baccalaureate" are trademarks of the IBO.
Our content is for study and revision support only. We do not guarantee any particular examination result.
3. Accounts & access tiers
- Free: a selection of sample questions and full worked solutions, available at no cost.
- Full access: unlocks every question across all four courses for a single one-off payment of £75.
4. Pricing & the access period
- Full access is a one-off payment of £75. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.
- Full access grants use of the Service until 1 July 2027, after which paid access ends.
- The £75 price is fixed and is not pro-rated. It is the cost of access until 1 July 2027 regardless of the date on which you purchase — buying later in the period does not reduce the price.
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details — these are entered directly with Stripe and handled under their own security and privacy standards. By paying, you authorise the charge and confirm you are entitled to use the payment method.
6. Cancellations
Because full access is a single one-off purchase rather than a recurring subscription, there is nothing to "cancel" to stop future charges — you will not be billed again. You may stop using the Service at any time. Ending your use early does not entitle you to a partial or pro-rated refund of the one-off fee, except as set out in the Refunds section below.
7. Refunds
- 14-day cooling-off period: If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days from purchase to change your mind. Because full access is digital content supplied immediately, you agree that we begin providing it as soon as you pay, and you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost once you have started accessing the paid content.
- Goodwill refunds: If you have made little or no use of the paid content, contact us within 14 days of purchase at phil@developingmaths.co.uk and we will consider a full refund at our discretion.
- No refunds are given after substantial use of the paid content, after the 14-day period, or after 1 July 2027.
- Refunds, where granted, are returned to the original payment method. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for the unused part of the access period.
- If the Service is permanently discontinued before 1 July 2027, we will offer a fair pro-rated refund for the remaining period.
8. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and to understand how it is used. This includes:
- Essential cookies: set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in to your account, and by Stripe during the payment process. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
- Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies (including
_gaand_ga_*) to collect anonymised data on pages visited, session duration, general location, device type and browser. This helps us improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for more detail and opt-out options.
By using the Service you agree to the use of cookies as described here and in our Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable use & intellectual property
All questions, solutions and materials are our original work and are protected by copyright. Your access is for your own personal study. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publish, or share your access with others, or use the content to build a competing product. We may suspend or terminate access (without refund) for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add, or remove content and features over time.
11. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any examination outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence). Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
